Changing the Investor Discussion using Lean Startup
About this Event
The Hands-on Business Building Series kicks off Innovate Pasadena's Connect Week in a interactive and in-depth live case study session. This event is led by Sugath Warnakulasuriya and Paul Orlando.
Building on last year's "Hands-on Business Building" session, we will kick-off the Connect Week once again with this interactive, in-depth session to help entrepreneurs shift their mindset and approach not just re: how they should build their business with a more rigorous, build-measure-learn orientation, but also how they should fundamentally change the way they engage the investment community using a more experimentation and data driven way. This session will be highly useful both for entrepreneurs as well as early stage investors looking for a more scientific and transparent way to evaluate, structure, and develop startup deals.
This extended (two hour) session will include a lecture/presentation, Q&A followed by in depth case studies of startups using this approach to fundraising. The goal for you as the audience is to think about problem solving in a very hands-on way and to take away things they you can apply immediately to your own work. Lunch is included.
