About this Event

In conjunction with the Los Angeles launch of Faster, Smarter, Greener: The Future of the Car and Urban Mobility, ArtCenter is hosting a distinguished panel of experts representing urban planning, digital technologies, the auto industry evolution, and multi-modal mobility architectures.

This event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Be sure to reserve your seat today!

The new book—published by MIT Press and authored by three professors affiliated with MIT and MIT's Sloan School of Management who have benefitted from numerous interactions with ArtCenter's Graduate Transportation program—anticipates a fundamental transformation of urban mobility and examines the drivers emerging from urbanization, sustainability and consumer attitudes. It highlights the role of policy, technology and business innovations in reshaping future mobility. The book also proposes a future mobility framework that is adaptable across global cities, inclusive across economic and demographic segments, and dynamic to keep pace with new technologies and innovative business models.
