Strategic Business Development and Investment, the Founding Director of StartUp Grind of Greater Pasadena, founding co-owner of Legion M Entertainment and Board Member at Innovate Pasadena focusing on the development of entrepreneurial endeavors, professional growth, education, and job creation.
Ken Hayes, Co-Founder & Venture Partner of Canyon Creek Capital II, LP
Ken Hayes helps companies grow, get financed, increase revenue and build value, specializing in Strategic Business Development, Corporate Development, Revenue Generation, Digital Marketing Strategy, and Start-up Finance. My industry expertise includes Internet Advertising, New Media, Online Content, SaaS and E-learning.
Julie-Ann Pina, Pasadena Angels
Julie-ann works with high growth organizations, either owned by or who choose to emulate the standards of professional investors. Her functional foundation is in Finance and experience includes overlap with Operations, Marketing, HR, and IT Strategy. Her industry interests focus on science and research driven companies in numerous fields, including: health, robotics, the Internet of Things, and solar. Technology that produces practical improvements to everyday life also catches her attention. Her diverse range of clients spans from a 2001 Caltech spinout to Edwards Lifesciences.
Arabian Prince, Chief Innovator of Inov8 Next LLC & founding member of the rap group N.W.A.
A songwriter, rapper, producer, DJ and technologist, Arabian Prince is best known for pioneering west coast electro music and being a founding member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted rap group N.W.A. His passion for technology led to him create a 3D animation and special effects studio in the 90’s working with companies like Saban Entertainment and Fox; including 100+ video game titles for Fox interactive and Vivendi Universal. As a consultant, Arabian has advised many companies on bridging the gap between technology and the youth, and currently is building technology center/incubator to bring new innovations to market.
