Website Weekend LA brings in non-profits and organizations doing great work in the local LA community and pair them up with teams of digital professionals. Then over the course of a weekend, these teams will collaborate and build something amazing for their organization that will help them grow their outreach and positively impact how they contribute to the community.

Girl Develop It is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable programs for adult women interested in learning web and software development in a judgment-free environment.

Alex Vasquez
Alex Vasquez is passionate about technology and community and how to bring both together. Annually he can be found organizing events like WordCamp Los Angeles and Website Weekend. Monthly he organizes a Meetup in Pasadena for users of the popular Open Source web publishing system WordPress. Weekly he volunteers for the Small Business Development Center, helping small businesses get their online digital marketing stuff handled. Daily Alex runs his own Digital Creative Agency, DigiSavvy specializing in PPC, Content Strategy, and WordPress Development and customization.

Natalie MacLees
Natalie MacLees is a front-end web developer and UI designer and is founder + principal of the interactive agency, Purple Pen Productions. She is the author of jQuery for Designers, now in its second edition. She was the lead organizer forWordCamp Los Angeles 2014 and 2013 and organized the first Website Weekend LA, a 48-hour hackathon matching web professionals with nonprofits in need to websites. Along withNathan Tyler, she created the Draw AttentionWordPress plugin for creating interactive images.
