Emerging Life Science Technology in Pasadena will showcase the exciting biotech, medical device and pharmaceutical research happening in the City of Roses through a series of presentations followed by open Q&A sessions. Topics to be discussed include science education, radiation mitigation, diagnosis of respiratory disease, HIV prevention and many more. The event is open to the general public and refreshments will be served during the break and networking segments of the event.

Dr. Robert Grubbs
Nobel laureate and serial entrepreneur Dr. Robert H. Grubbs will be sharing experience and wisdom gained through years of creating startup companies. Currently the Victor and Elizabeth Atkins Professor of Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology, Dr. Grubbs holds over 100 patents and has been instrumental in the success of Materia, Inc. based in Pasadena.
