The first Pasadena Astronomy Festival will take place at the Pasadena Convention Center. Have fun with free family fun astronomy activities such as an inflatable digital planetarium as well as special telescopes that can be used for daytime and nighttime viewing. This is your chance to finally ask an astronomer how the Universe was formed, what are black holes, and whatever happened to little E.T.?

Ten Pasadena-based scientific institutions and organizations have partnered to celebrate Pasadena as the “City of Astronomy,” culminating with the first Pasadena Astronomy Festival, 2-8 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E. Green Street.
