The Future of Quantum Computing invites you to join us for an evening of cutting edge discussion with Dr. Barbara Jones, Group Leader of the Theoretical and Computational Physics Team at the IBM Almaden Research Center and Dr. Mark Jackson, Business Development Scientific Lead for Cambridge Quantum Computing as they discuss IBM's quantum activities

Dr. Barbara Jones, Physicist
Dr. Barbara Jones is a theoretical and computational physicist at IBM Research Almaden. She received an A.B. (physics) from Harvard University; MS (Applied Mathematics) from The University of Cambridge (Churchill Scholar); MS and PhD in Physics from Cornell University. After a postdoc at Harvard, she joined IBM at the Almaden Research Center in 1989.
Dr. Mark Jackson, Business Development Scientific Lead for Cambridge Quantum Computing
Theoretical Physicist and entrepreneur with expertise in the quantum computing industry. Doctor of Philosophy in Theoretical Physics from Columbia University with background in mathematical modeling and computational physics. Interests include quantum computing, superstring theory, cosmology, space exploration, public communication of science, data science, and machine learning.
