The Thinking Eye
About this Event
“The Thinking Eye,” a free public lecture presented by Edward Tufte, artist and data visualization pioneer, followed by a reception for the UNCERTAINTY exhibition featuring 16 artists, including Tufte, who focus on the frontiers of knowledge and interpreting the unknown. Visitors will have the rare chance to see a restored ’75 Dodge van formerly owned by Nobel Physicist Richard Feynman and decorated with Feynman Diagrams, a visual language describing the behavior of subatomic particles. UNCERTAINTY opens October 11, 2016 and continues through January 22, 2017 at the Alyce de Roulet Williamson Gallery.
